In the beginning of the school year my students all were non readers! Currently the majority of my student are independently reading leveled books. My students love to independently read stories alone and with their peers. They feel successful every time they read books. We have read and reread all of the books in our limited classroom library. Our class needs new books for us to enjoy. Getting new books will help the students continue to grow as independent learners. New books will allow my students to become even more confident in their reading skills and encourage them to face new challenges, reaching higher educational demands.
