Having access to a set of Chrome books will allow students to use Google Docs to create online assignments. Students will be able to complete their assignments during their technology rotations. Chromebooks will be hugely helpful when students collaborate to complete the many research projects that we explore in 2nd grade. Some of the projects that we research in class include: Science Fair Procedures, Holiday Around the World, Food Chains and Biomes, Insects, Arachnids, Important African-Americans who contributed to Math and Science. As of now students are sharing a limited amount of resources. Having access to extra technology will open the door for students to explore just beyond research.
