Students will be given certain building features that they will have to re-create in their projects. They will have the chance to work cooperatively together and then show off their creations to their parents when we have our unit festival at the end of the Building Unit. They will need to use language skills to communicate with each other. This will give ESL students a chance to use the language they have learned. The Stem kit can be used for small group activity where students can work together in groups of 2 or 3. Then they can display their projects to the class.
