These materials will allow my students to function in the same environment as their non-disabled peers. They will help them to learn the same concept but in a different way, in a way that they can understand. My ADHD child can sit in the same classroom environment as his non-disabled peers with the bouncy foot rest or the bouncy chair. They can learn concepts with manipulative that are more visual for them and use scissors and pencils they can access. A little bit goes a long way. Sometime, we need don't need to do much to give a better chance of success to those that have lost hope.
