We are using iPads with students to learn, do projects, and practice math and reading skills. The MacBook will be used to tie it all together. I will use the MacBook to monitor what each student is creating on their iPad. I will be able to assign Nearpod and SeeSaw projects for students to complete at school that can be saved in their virtual folder so parents can easily see their child's work. I am always designing new activities for my students. I create worksheets that support their English Language Arts, Math and Science Curriculum. I want to make sure my families are connected to our class through emails and our class website. I will be able to upload information as well as photos to keep parents updated and connected to our classroom learning as well as school wide activities. The MacBook Air's iPhoto is integral to updating and designing individual student memory photo albums that I will be making year. Learning comes alive when we are studying social studies in kindergarten. If we are discussing the Asian Lunar New Year, I can show my class how cultures celebrate this holiday through dance, art and story telling. Ideas and concepts become real through vivid video footage. Today technology is so important in every classroom. Having this MacBook Air will really enhance my teaching and my students learning!
