There are many ways that my students can benefit from noise canceling headphones. These headphones can be used during a test when they are not even plugged into anything. Many of my students have trouble focusing, so if they can have something to block out the noise they have a better chance of staying on track. My students are accelerated but they are still on different ability levels and headphones will help me differentiate with my students to fit their needs. These headphones would give them a way to listen to the text while they read it, which can boost their comprehension. The headphones can also give the students access to music which helps with their focus and blocks out other distractions. These can also allow me to assign rigorous assignments to my students that need to be challenged. Khan academy has great videos on all the different math concepts. The rolling cart will allow me to take my headphones with me to the different classrooms I teach out of.
