Spyderball is essentially a knock off of the game spikeball. Spikeball is a game that was introduced in 2008 which is predominantly on the west coast. The novelty increases an added factor to the enjoyment of this game. I have one set that I have used with the students which they have fell in love with. It is my goal to have eight sets, so we can teach a lesson with an entire class. Spikeball, or roundnet, requires four players. The game is started with a serve against the net. Subsequently, the opposing team must use a maximum of three hits to spike the ball against the net. A failure to do so will result in a point for the opposing team. The game is similar to volleyball, except instead of hitting the ball over the net (volleyball) the player must bounce the ball against the trampoline like net.
