To ensure that my students will be able to thrive for many years beyond their elementary school experiences, I would love to provide them with the best classroom supplies and furniture to facilitate their learning. Our classroom has twenty-eight desks of different colors, heights and lengths. Not only is this displeasing to the eye, but not conducive to the collaborative group work and discussions we engage in numerous times throughout our academic day. Tables will create an atmosphere that supports face to face discussion with peers. The flat, even surface will assist with proper conduction of experiments and group work.
