This is the first time most of my students will be exposed to the wonders of building robots, using circuits and coding. I would love to give my students the opportunity to explore, create and experiment in a science center that is filled with tools that will spark their imagination and creativity. Each student, regardless of their age and ability, will benefit from this new center. Whether they are 3, 4 or 5 years old they will be able to use their imagination to unlock the wonders of robots, circuits and coding. These activities will teach my students the values of team work, sharing, collaborating and compromising. They will also learn to persevere and try again if something doesn't work the first time they try. Building robots and working with circuits will help my students understand how things work. Through trial and error, they will develop valuable problem solving skills. Being introduced to coding will help my students learn computer programming skills. Skills that will become very useful in their futures.
