Due to COVID-19, our students have been doing distance learning from home. To make matters worse, our school was destroyed in the tornadoes on Easter Sunday. I am not sure where our temporary school will be, but it will most likely not be “Kindergarten friendly”. The classroom rug is where majority of our learning and bonding takes place. Additionally, the flexible seating will meet the needs of the diverse range of students that attend our school. I want my new classroom to have a fresh start and be a comforting environment that supports learning.
