After such a difficult and disjointed school year last year, the requested supplies will help with team building in the classroom. The students learned from home or school last year and are finally coming back together. While they are all excited to come back together, each student has experienced last year in a different way and it is important to build a solid classroom family at the beginning of the school year. Throughout the school year the students may struggle with their emotions and that is when a calming corner will be necessary. Students will need an area that they can feel comfortable and re-center themselves prior to rejoining the class.
