In my class of 33, I have a variety of different reading levels and definitely a variety of different student interests in books. In our classroom, my students crave the ability to access books that they are interested in. Whether it be chapter books, graphic novels or culturally relative books that they relate to, my students love to read. This project will help students access books that are high interest and relatable to student lives. My students love to read, but sometimes have difficulty finding books that appeal to their interests. As a first-year teacher, it can be difficult to find books that meet all of their learning needs and interests. But I love doing it because I love to see my students reading!
