Every year, Prince George's county public schools invite their 5th grade classes to attend an exciting field trip, Camp Schmidt! On this field trip, the students engage in team building, problem solving, and confidence building activities all with one focus in mind...helping our environment for them and future generations. As a former PG county student turned PG county teacher I can say from personal experience that this trip is unlike any other field trip! As a public charter school, the county does not provide us with free buses for field trips. This year, we have over 100 students which means we need even more buses. Our students thank you in advance for considering donating to our project to ensure another generation of PG county students get this one of a kind trip experience!
