The art budget at IVHS is very limited. I struggle every year to provide quality art supplies. We have not had a chance to paint on canvas due to other pertinent supplies that are needed, such as, drawing paper, pencils and colored pencils. I would love for my students to be able to experience painting on canvas board instead of on cardboard or paper. Art is a therapy, and many of these students could benefit from being able to express themselves. Even though students have worked with acrylic before, they haven't been able to work with nice materials. I want to give them that opportunity.
