The great thing about the escape room I am planning is that the puzzles the students need to solve in order to “win” or “escape” will challenge them to think critically and work together. Important skills they need to be successful in the 21st century. The materials I have decided to incorporate focus on concepts that require mastery of math, language and problem solving and the application of those skills in new situations. The products I am asking for will provide students with challenges in the form of math puzzlers, language challenges, cooperative puzzles, and brain teasers. This will give them an opportunity to apply their previous learning in a new situation.
