We know that children cannot learn when they are overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. Science backs the benefits of having plants in the classroom, including air purification, reduced stress and increased productivity. Flexible seating options support circulation and mental alertness. My Wellness Center will provide a calm and kind space for students to re-center themselves when feeling overwhelmed so that they can realize their full potential in the classroom. Twinkle lighting will help set the tone for the "cool down corner". With your support, students will have an ideal space to learn tools for social and emotion well-being. By learning skills for self-regulation students will be able to access more learning opportunities.
