The nets, tennis rackets, and other equipment will go to enhancing the physical education program at my school. We do not currently have any real net systems. My current nets consist of a long jump rope tied to two portable basketball hoops. I have been wanting to incorporate volleyball and tennis into the curriculum. I would love to have enough rackets so that each child in the class has one to work with. Introducing my students to new sports and activities will help them further develop their foundational skills and physical abilities. Physically literate children are also proven to perform better within the classroom. I aspire to give my students an introduction to a wide variety of sports and activities in order for them to become invested and interested in an active and healthy lifestyle.
