Currently, we have three wobble stools in our classroom for everyone to share. My students love it when it’s their turn to use this alternative seating, and are always hoping to have more time on a stool! Our new Regency Wobble stools will be used at students’ desks and at our small group table which we utilize daily for math and literacy stations, writing, science, and social studies activities. These stools will help build core strength and encourage the students to get their wiggles out while they learn. Movement matters! Core strength is key for kids to develop good posture and gross and fine motor skills. Active sitting on the wobble stools can increase the amount of physical activity students get during the school day and can improve their ability to pay attention. Regency Wobble stools will help us build up our core muscles and wiggle during lessons so our brains can focus and learn as much as possible.
