I would like to provide my physical education classes with a fun, yet meaningful end of the year unit on lawn games. We would love to play games like pickleball, cornhole, and badminton. Students enjoy these games, which will encourage greater class participation amongst my students. Students that participate are active which contributes to a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, students will learn skills like sportsmanship and teamwork. Physical education is crucial for our students' health and well being. Many modern students spend several hours a day on devices or immersed in technology. While technology can be rewarding, students need physical education class now more than ever.
