We need a space in our classroom for students to lounge and read. The atmosphere needs to be warm and inviting. Comfortable seating would truly be beneficial in helping achieve this. We have stations in kindergarten, during small groups with teacher instruction, other students are engaged at other stations that are aiding them in language arts, reading or math activities. Children would benefit from flexible seating for independent reading, whole group reading and shared reading. Materials such as these are more durable than the flexible seating that can be purchased at the local Wal-Mart or other discount stores and are comparable in price.
