By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase their reading skills and strategies, but you will also help to develop their academic achievement through the love of classic upper-grade literature in their native language which is Spanish. We have already read a few books as a class in English but with your help, we can continue that tradition with books in their native tongue. Having their own copy of the book in front of them helps them stay accountable and even helps those struggling readers to stay focused and motivated as we are reading together.
