My students love learning new words and learning to read! It is such a delight to see five-year olds so engaged with learning! During this virtual learning environment because of Covid-19, many of my students do not have the resources at home to help them academically. My students want to learn more and as their teacher, I want to give them that opportunity. These books will help students practice reading fluency, writing, and comprehension while providing consistency during this challenging school year. Writing has been the biggest challenge this year, but my students are giving it their all. These books will help us during our live virtual sessions as well as asynchronous learning. With frequent use and engagement, we can close the gap...while the students are having a blast!
