My kindergarten students are from many different backgrounds and countries. Many of my students are beginning to learn English. They are all eager to learn and enjoy being at school. What makes my students special?....Everything! My students need to hear fluent English as they are learning to read. Having headphones for the computers and listening center will enable them to focus on the task they are doing. Listening to books being read to them will help improve fluency. My students will also us the headphones while they are on the computer completing intervention programs. These programs provide students with lessons as their "just right" level whether it is at, above, or below grade level.
