Having seating choices allows students to take ownership in their learning and decide what works best for them to be successful. These specific seats allow students to move, which will increase their focus in math class and improve student success. The balance ball seating will be available to my students who have a variety of needs and may just need something different than the norm to focus in class. The color printer will help with our project-based learning so students will be able to create colorful presentations to display. I hope to have a color printer increase technology use in my classroom. I use color in my classroom for parent contact letters, visual aids, anchor charts, and assignments. Color engages and inspires students, facilitates creative thinking, and helps develop critical thinking in a variety of subject areas. Having a color printer will make providing color copies of assignments easier. The color printer will also allow me to print the students' work in color from their Chromebooks. Being able to display the color copies of their creations will inspire students and help them show their abilities to their parents.
