This will be my third year teaching Science in the P. Public School District. Each year, I am excited to help my students succeed and in doing so, I am constantly looking for opportunities to provide them a safe learning environment where they feel comfortable to learn. This project will not only benefit my current students, but students in the future as well. The lab table stools and calculators will last us many years. The calculators will provide my students with technology they otherwise do not have access to. The stools will provide a flexible seating arrangement that gives the students the option to sit down while completing a lab as opposed to standing. This will increase classroom engagement because they need calculators to complete the assignments, and the seating will improve concentration because the students will be more comfortable and attentive to instruction.
