Students in the art room color with markers almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. These materials will come into great use when adding color to our flowers, while learning about Georgia O'keefe. They will also be a huge help when students get to choose their medium and most want to use markers instead of crayons and colored pencils. Markers add detail and bright crisp colors to projects like no other material does. Students beg to use markers but it is hard when we only have so many to go around. These markers would help students understand the importance of taking care of supplies even though they are not theirs. Teaching them about generosity and care provided by perfect strangers is a great way to help them pay it forward someday.
