The school offered a limited supply of funds for dissection specimens but I do not have enough funds to get the rabbit lab manuals. Normally we do cat dissections, but they were not available when I ordered the rabbits, so I need the rabbit dissection manuals for a class set for the students. The students are excited to get started on the whole animal dissection and have more hands-on activities. Some students have ADD and need more movement activities, as well as practical knowledge of actual texture and structure of body organs, not just from pictures in a textbook. They need the lab manuals to do the dissections. My Human Body System class could use those mats to help with actual color pictures and not just black and white illustrations to identify and locate parts in dissections and study for the lab practical exams. They get excited to explore.
