Even as adults, we dislike having to sit on a hard plastic chair the entire work day. Why ask children to do the same? Students benefit from flexible seating so they can stand while working or sit on something soft. When students are comfortable they will be more at ease to listen and learn. Students will have the option where to sit during reading, writing and math. With this project, my students can stand at a comfortable desk with plenty of space to work or relax on a small couch like at home. My students have multiple learning styles so flexible seating will allow them to choose what fits them best.
