The students will be using the 4 chromebooks for collaborative projects. What is hugely needed is the ability to translate assignments and documents from english into their spoken language and then back into english. This is helpful for the students as they are learning to read and write in english. Students tend to have an easier time with speaking english with their peers. However, they lack the practice with academic english. Having these chromebooks can assist in this effort. In addition, students can check out the 3 kindle books for individual reading. The best part is the ability to read books that they like, and books that connect to the class projects, and research for collaborative assignments.
