The chromebooks will be used to allow students to do interactive virtual labs available to them in a center type format, students will rotate through. The Biology game is an awesome way for students to show mastery of content and review in a fun and exciting way, which is so important when dealing with high schoolers! The same with coloring diagrams and labeling it helps to retain the information. The days of reading in textbooks are gone, we have moved into more advanced technical teaching and learning and with kids always looking for instant gratification, keeping them engaged is so important. I know that these items will make such a positive impact on my students, who need the reinforcement and engagement.
