These materials would be shared and rotated between 6 different special needs preschool classrooms, which will reach over 120 students this school year alone. The book kits will provide many different opportunities to promote language skills in our 3, 4 and 5 year old students. Storytelling Kits would provide opportunities for nonverbal or limited language students to participate in story time and other literacy activities. They will also provide opportunities for all students to be better engaged in the activities associated with each book set which includes sequencing, re-telling, using the materials to answer basic questions and basic concepts.
