I love teaching kindergarten because for many students this is their first school experience. Everything they are learning in school is new and exciting. My public school kindergarten students are excited about patterns, sorting, counting and adding, and especially love having math center activities they can feel successful doing. Center time is a favorite time of day for my students and I am hoping to instill a confidence in them especially regarding math concepts.
