I have been inspired by talented school leaders throughout my teaching career. Good leaders motivate teachers and fuel their passion. This passion is then passed along to students to ensure they are getting the best educational experience to meet their intellectual and emotional needs. I am enrolled in graduate courses at UNCW to help me develop the skills needed to become an effective school leader. These leadership tools are currently impacting my students every day in my classroom and I am looking forward to adding to my leadership tool box. My goal is to then become a school administrator where I can support other teachers and all students, beyond just my classroom. This funding will help cover the cost of these courses, allowing me to continue teaching while I pursue this goal.
