I would like my students to develop a joy for reading. I am asking for thirty copies of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. With this a class set of books my students and I could read together. I feel that if we read together it will help create a positive classroom culture. With our society being technology driven, I feel that it is rare for students to sit down and enjoy a good book. I do not want my students to miss out and not experience the power of literature. As a child I hated to read and through reading Harry Potter books my love for books grew. I would love to share this experience with my students.
