We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our whole group lessons, math group partner work, and daily 5 (read to self and read to someone) activities. My students need a comfortable carpet to invite them to learn. We spend time daily on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space to call their own while learning and working together. The carpet is our main gathering spot where we come together as a community to learn and work collaboratively together. A new classroom rug will allow students to be welcomed as this is the central meeting spot in our classroom. My students will feel comfortable and will have a place to excel in their learning.
