We will use the Crayola multicultural crayons to create self portraits for the kinder and first graders in skin tones that match their ethnic identity. The second and third graders will use the Crayola multicultural markers to create family and community portraits that reflect our leaders in our inner circles. The fourth and fifth graders will use the Crayola multicultural pencils to create portraits of influential world leaders. All students will use the multicultural colored paper set to enhance portraits of self, family, community or world leaders. The ethnic and culturally diverse students in my class will have an authentic opportunity to explore identity of self and others in their world.
