A small group of students are currently in the Robotics club. Their creative talents of building robots to do tasks, were shared with the school population and parents at a Parent Engagement Activity. Students demonstrated the robots they built and created a movie to show the cascading of the building and coding activities. Everyone was excited! The students in the club were very proud of themselves. Other students in our school are also interested in having the opportunity to build and code robots. However, we do not have enough Lego Kits to engage an entire class of students at the same time. There is so much creativity during this period of robotics engagement. Students, do research to find out more information on a particular topic they are investigation. There is active engagement and accountable talk as they work in pairs building and coding. It is a joy to see them demonstrate solve a problem, and then write or type a reflection. Towards this end, we are asking you to donate to our project of having more Lego kits in the classroom so that more students may benefit from Coding and Robotics
