As research has repeatedly shown, the more a student reads, the more accomplished and confident reader the student becomes. I'm humbly asking you for some help in providing my students with high interest, engaging books for students to use in our weekly independent reading session. The books I selected for my students appeal to a variety of interests and topics. Many of these books were chosen by individual students already--they are already excited about being able to dive into their books, and hopefully explore new titles in our enhanced classroom library. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my students.
