I need your help providing my students with simple school supplies so they can thrive in the classroom. Many of my students come from an environment in which they are unable to obtain the bare necessities needed to succeed in school. They desire to learn and are more engaged when they have all the materials necessary to learn. Providing my students with glue, pencils, file folders, markers, and access to pencil sharpeners and staplers will give them the ​ability to enter the classroom without worrying about the embarrassment of not having supplies needed to perform. Removing this worry allows them to focus on achievement. This also reduces distractions in the classroom and allows for a better classroom environment.
