I have a passion for teaching students to read at a young age. Currently our system for assessing and diagnosing students with learning disabilities makes it difficult to diagnose students younger than approximately age nine. However, research shows that students who do not receive intense intervention before this time have much lower school success and high school graduation rates. Currently, I own 4 Wilson Magnetic Tile Boards. An additional 2 boards would allow me to increase my group size and provide intervention to a greater number of students. These boards will also be used for my already diagnosed Special Education Students.
