We will utilize the Legos in a variety of ways. One way will be to develop trusting relationships between peers and adults. My students often come in having no one they feel they can trust. By developing these relationships ,my students will feel more at ease and therefore perform better academically. Another way they will be used is for writing. Each student will create a scene of Legos and then write about it. We will also use Legos in math and following direction tasks. Finally, we will use Legos as a reward. Students need structured play time to build hand-eye coordination and critical thinking.
