This classroom document camera will help my students learn how to read, write and mathematical strategies. Studies have shown that students that 25% do not read on grade level by the end of fourth grade become functioning illiterate adults. The ability to read, comprehend what you read and write about it is a skill that my students will need for the rest of their lives. A document camera gives me as the teacher the ability to model what students are learning. This will not only impact my students for this year but students for many years to come. Students tend to learn more when it is modeled in front of them. This will enrich their learning and give them a better understanding of reading and writing. Thank you for taking the time to read this and give my students, our future leaders a chance.
