The furniture being requested for this project will give my students choice in where and how they want to sit aside from their desk. As an ESE inclusion class, the needs of my students vary. Imagine a class full of wiggly, squirmy five year olds, all sitting on those tiny, plastic chairs. They want to move, but their seats are pretty restrictive. The materials I picked out will give them more range of motion, helping them stay better focused. Flexible seating will help my children focus on their lessons and work, allowing them to become better readers, mathematians, and scholars.
