My students read Hatchet every year. This year the students have really wanted a little more of Brian. They seem to be able to relate with him being only 13 years old in the book. We are hoping to get the Brain series so that they can continue the adventure with Brian. I've never had a group wanting to read more about a character than this group has. Brian continues to amaze them with every new situation he gets into and they way these problems are solved. I'm really excited they are going to get the opportunity to continue this series.
