I have selected basic school supplies my students need to be successful. Many of my students do not have a pencil when they walk through my door and even more lack motivation to be at school. As a special education math teacher, my students use pencils and calculators each and every day as pens are not allowed to be used in my classroom. Each day, I hand out tons of pencils to my students who need them not only for my class, but throughout the rest of the day as well. The calculators will allow me to fully provide my students with a calculator they can use in class and at home to assist them with their work.
