Unfortunately, our district doesn't shampoo our classroom carpets, nor replace them after a reasonable amount of use. They are filthy and have many germs. I have to rent a shampooer and clean the carpets on my own and using my own funds. I'd like to eliminate the germ infested carpet and replace it with tumbling mats which will be attached to each other to make a nice size carpet area for story time and playtime. The mats will be easier to keep clean as they can be wiped off on a daily basis. This will create an inviting area for my kinders to come to every day.
