Our theater program has been completely revamped this year! I am the new director, and I'm working hard alongside my students to make the theater program here the best that it can be. One of the ways that I'm hoping to improve the program is through new lighting options. We are hoping to purchase an 8-pack of versatile stage lights. We will be able to use these lights in all future performances. They will provide an additional opportunity to my students interested in the tech side of theater. These resources will not only help students on stage, but students off-stage as well. By providing extra resources like specialized stage lights and two-way radios, we are able to include more skills in our tech crew experience. More students are able to participate in our tech crews as well. I chose DJ Lights Missyee 36 X 1W RGB LEDs DJ Uplighting Package Sound Activated Stage Lights with Remote Control Compatible with DMX, due to how versatile they are. We will use them as easy-to-move lighting throughout our shows and they will add a whole new dimension to our lighting (especially when we get a scrim!) The 10 Retevis H-777S Two-Way Radios Long Range Rechargeable FRS Radio Vox Security Walkie Talkies with Earpieces will be used by our directors and tech crew to communicate during shows. They help the show run smoothly and teach students the ins and outs of running a show from backstage. I also added a Sabrent 60 Watt (12 Amp) 10-Port [UL Certified] Family-Sized Desktop USB Rapid Charger to the list so that we can easily charge the radios between the shows. My students and I appreciate all the help we can get! Thank you!
