I am applying for Vitamix blenders for not only my Culinary/FACS classes, but also as an opportunity to use them after school with students staying for sports/Activities. Vitamix mixers high speed blenders and they are amazing tools to have in a classroom. The possibilities with these blenders are endless and it would be a great way to educate our kids on nutrition, as well as fuel them on essential foods. With a Vitamix Blender, we could make nutritious smoothies, vegetable dips, soups and more! These blenders can heat up ingredients as well as cool them down to make even a frozen yogurt! I hope to teach my students that eating healthy can be GOOD!! Healthy food is delicious and there are amazing ways we can prepare it that are delicious and fuel our bodies with the necessities we need to get us through our long days!
