My students are constantly on the move, and have a difficult time focusing. They are all very sensory motivated and find it challenging to stay seated at the table. This leads us to doing work on the floor, under the table, or just about anywhere. We have 1 rug in our room that was left from a retiring teacher. It is old, stained, and extremely dirty. The rest of our floor is tiled. My vision is to have a designated work space that provides my students with a wide variety of seating options. I believe that this would make our work time much more efficient and meaningful. My students would also be way more comfortable in a learning environment that suits their unique individual needs.
