I will use the laptops during literacy centers to help students work on different skills needed in order to be successful. Laptops can allow for different and potentially more effective in-class learning activities, especially for small-group work and other collaborative exercises. Laptops allow students to engage differently in the material, which helps them with their learning. No student has the exact same learning style, and the laptops along with the lesson plans will not only challenge the students, the lessons done on the laptops will be molded to their style of learning. I would also use the laptops for my ELL students to help enrich their daily class skills. Since each of my four ELL students is on a different level, using laptops during center time helps each student to work at a level that best fits each individual student's needs. The laptop use during centers is essential for ELL students to increase their skills, and it is essential for enriching and increasing their knowledge of the English language.
